INVESTIGATION ON THERMAL DEGRADATION PROPERTIES OF FLAME RETARDANT EPOXY RESIN WITH HEXAKIS (ANILINE) CYCLOTRIPHOSPHAZENE

摘要：

　　Hexakis(aniline) cyclotriphosphazene (HACP) was synthesized and blended with epoxy resin (EP) to prepare flame retardant EP composites.The LOI of EP composites increased from 20.5 to 25.5 after adding 10phr HACP into EP.The TG-MS analysis indicated that the flame retarding mechanism of HACP was similar to the intumescent system.HACP could contribute to generate char in the condensed phase and reduced the release amount of combustible gas (C1Hx and C2Hx) and CO in gas phase.
