Cone Calorimeter The Cone Calorimeter developed by Babrauskas, as described in the ISO 56601 and ASTM E13542 Standards, was designed to measure the heat release from combustible materials such as wood, plastic and other building products which typically have peak HRR of 250-2000 kW/m2.
