HIGHLY EFFICIENT POLYMERIC FLAME RETARDANT FOR DGEBA RESIN
A highly efficient flame retardant (FR) was applied in diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) epoxy resin (EP).By means of LOI, UL-94 and cone calorimeter, fire property and behaviour of flame retarded epoxy resin are investigated.The results show that limited oxygen index (LOI) and vertical burning test (UL-94) grade of FR-EP were improved at 5% loading.FR and synergist decrease heat released in cone test and give out a mass of residua.
