FIRE RETARDANCY OF INTUMESCNET FLAME RETARDANT POLYPROPYLENE/NANOTUBULAR KAOLINITE COMPOSITES

摘要：

　　In this paper, nanotubular kaolinite (N-K) was prepared from natural kaolinite mineral and its structure was characterized.And then N-K was used as a synergistic flame retardant in PP/MCAPP/PEPA.According to the results from LOI, vertical burning and CONE, N-K exhibited better flame resistance and thermoability than natural kaolinite.
