Research on skip-level supplier selection in the automotive industry based on DEA
Factors such as price, quality, logistics, supply history, company size, and service that are frequently considered in the supplier selection as the input index, complaint handing capacity, market reaction ability and customer service satisfaction as the output indicator, this paper evaluated comprehensively various factors of dealers through using of DEA model.Focus on an automobile company choosing the floor for its dealers, it analyzed the decision-making unit (DMU) which is non DEA effective and input redundancy, and then determined the objective method of selecting supplier.
