Application of Matrix Solid-Phase Dispersion with Column Chromatography to the Simultaneous Determination of 14 Organochlorine Pesticides in Fresh Tea Leaves By GC-Qqq-MS/MS MRM

Most of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) are classified as persistent organic pollutants (POPs) due to their stability in the biogeochemical processes.Despite public warnings and even banning rules against their application, OCPs and their degradation products widely exist in the environmental media, such as tea, which has been used as popular beverage and consumed in many cultures for centuries. The pretreatment technique of matrix solid phase dispersion (MSPD) introduced by Barker et al.in 1989,integrates extraction and clean-up procedures requiring only small quantities of sample and organic solvent, while it is used seldom in fresh tea leaf samples.
