Since the success of diimine complexes for polymerization of ethylene1, a series of N-(5,6,7-trihydroquinolin-8-ylidene)arylamines show good activities towards ethylene polymerization2,3.The previous discovery of bis(iminoalkyl) pyridine ligands which the ortho position of the imino group introduced cycloalkyl substituents as components of catalytic systems for polymerization of ethylene4,5.
