Vanadyl Di(5-t-butyl-2-(aryliminomethyl)quinolin-8-olate): Synthesis, Characterization and Their Ethylene (Co-)Polymerization
Considering the highly sensitivity of vanadium complexes, the bis(phenoxy-imino)vanadium complexes have become attractive and induced extensive researches,12 meanwhile the imidovanadium(Ⅴ) quinolin-8-olate complexes showed good polymerization behavior to ethylene and propylene.3 In our efforts to design highly active half-titanocene pre-catalysts, series of 2-(aryliminomethyl)quinolin-8-ol derivatives have been extensively investigated and commonly showed tridentate coordination feature in their complexes.
