Probing the Evolution of Tennis Clothing from Tradition to Individuation from the Perspective of Historical Development
This article studies ancient(19th century) and modern (in the 1920s) tennis attire at home and abroad by literature, logic analysis and other methods.It fully explores the development of tennis attire from tradition to individualization, and it specifically analyzes the different periods characteristics of tennis attire in terms of material forms (style) and color etc.in three time periods(namely the traditional period, the transition period, and individualized, diversified period).Also it analyzes influential factors of the tennis attires development and changes including social factors, cultural factors, technological factors and the mass media factors.Meanwhile, it predicts tennis attires future development and possible changes, and provides some related suggestions.
