The Application of TED-Ed in the Flipped Academic English Class for Graduates

  Graduate students are in need of academic English training for their professional performance in their fields. This research attempts to integrate the advanced teaching technology -TED-Ed and the widely-recognized teaching model-flipped classroom into the academic English teaching for graduates, aiming to conduct professional content-based English teaching to improve graduates overall ability in academic English reading, and writing, listening, speaking and critical thinking. Empirical teaching results prove the feasibility and efficacy of the mode, but there is no denial that the mode also brings great challenges for teachers.
