A Quest for Ethnic and Cultural Identity in Black Boy
The autobiographical novel Black Boy written by Richard Wright vehemently condemns the racial discrimination for its negative effect and presents the awakening of African-American peoples struggle for equality.This paper focuses on the analyses of the protagonists behavior and his psychological activities to show how he quests for ethnic and cultural identity in a cross culture of the white and the black.
