A Study of Person Pronouns Interpersonal Meaning in Political Speeches

摘要：

　　This paper studies person pronouns interpersonal meaning of each of the two political speeches delivered by presidents Obama and George W.Bush.It is found out that person pronoun is an important lexico-grammatical resource to realize interpersonal meaning in presidential speeches.The study deepens our understanding of the interpersonal meaning of presidential speeches and thus provides a new perspective in the study of political discourse.
