Cognitive Stylistic Research on Death Metaphors in Dylan Thomass Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night

摘要：

　　Cognitive stylistics focuses on linguistic analysis or cognitive structure and process in the choice of linguistic forms.It is a better way to reveal the relationship between the ideology and emotion of the languages and the linguistic forms.From the perspective of cognitive stylistics,this paper attempts to analyze the death metaphor in Dylan Thomass “Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night,thereby demonstrating that metaphor is not only a kind of rhetoric,but also a way to cognize the world.
