Research on the Image Comparison between Vanina Vanini and Meiniang Sun

摘要：

　　The famous French novelist Stendhal was born one century more earlier than Chinese contemporary famous writer Mo Yan and both stand towering like a giant in the world literature.Their women images are prominent in personalities,distinctive in images and bold in pursuing personal happiness,which have drawn many literature critics and researchers concern ever since.This paper is only to analyze the female heroine Vanina Vanini in Stendhals early novel Vanina Vanini and the female heroine Meiniang Sun in Mo Yans novel Sandalwood Penalty,explain their aesthetic core from different perspectives,compare their formation causes and ideology background and provide the possibility to analyze the writers and other representative works in this point of view.
