The Current Situation and Reflection of Researching on Pulitzer Prize for Fiction (1917-2016)

　　The Pulitzer Prize for Fiction is one of the most famous literary awards in America,which is closely related to the mainstream of American literature and American social culture.Yet it always upholds its own characteristics and shows different opinion from the public focus.The study of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction has been focused in the current academic circles.However,not only longitudinal study since one-hundred-year setting of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction,but also the cross-sectional study about the spirits shown in the winners of the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction are both needed to be focused and studied further.And its literary and cultural values also need to be highlighted.
