Research and Practice on Culture-Oriented Mode of Advanced English Teaching
Language is a most important part of culture.To learn a language,one must get to know the culture it carries.In Advanced English teaching,to better appreciate the texts,comprehend the writers intention and enjoy the charm of the articles,its necessary for the students to have good acquaintance with the culture of the target language,including its history,geography,customs,conventions,way of living,literature,art,code of conduct,mode of thinking and values.Therefore,culture education is vital and worthwhile for Advanced English teachers in their classes.
