Features of Translation Service in the Information Age and the Development of Translators Pragmatic Competence

　　Starting with a discussion of the features of translation service in the information age,this paper analyses the main causes for pragmatic failure in translation due to translators deficiency in cultural difference cognition,on the basis which advances some solutions to enhance translators awareness of the cultural differences,to improve their information retrieving ability,and to develop their pragmatic competence.
