Transient and Dynamic Stability Enhancement by Coordination Control of HVDC Links of Northwest acdc grid
In this paper, Transient stability enhancement by emergency power control and damping of slow oscillations with active power modulation of HVDC-links are analyzed. Digital simulations show that emergency power control can improve the transient stability and proper selected of active power controller can effectively suppress the inter-area oscillation in large-scale ac/dc hybrid power grid.
