Automatic Establishment and Optimal Selection of Power System Black Start Plans
Black start plan is very important for power system restoration after a blackout. In this paper, a new method is proposed to establish the initial black start plans automatically and evaluate the established plans. With consideration of the special power system status, black-start (BS) unit and non-black-start (NBS) units are preselected to reduce the calculation burden. The k-shortest path algorithm is applied to form the initial black start plans. Then, a new evaluation index is defined to assess the plans. The plan with the maximum index is selected as the optimal plan. Simulation results of Shandong power grid show that the proposed method is effective and feasible.
