Hierarchical Multi-objective Unit Commitment Optimization Considering Negative Peak Load Regulation Ability
This paper proposed a multi-objective unit commitment model based on a comprehensive consideration of negative peak load regulation ability and operation cost of conventional generators. A hierarchical multi-objective optimization method based on discrete particle swarm optimization and predictor corrector interior point method (DPSO-PCIPM) is proposed. The final commitment solution can be selected from the Pareto front. A widely-used 10 unit system and its extended systems are adopted to evaluate the proposed model and solution method. The simulation results show that the proposed model and solution method is effective and efficient, especially for the large-scale systems.
