Introduction of EcoGrid and Its Enlightenment to China
In this paper, a demonstration project of real-time power market named EcoGrid is introduced. First of all, the background, the main aims and the new concept of the real-time market of the EcoGrid in Bornholm are briefly introduced. Then, the participators from the customer side are classified into 5 types according to the different controlling style. Moreover, the behaviors and functions of the actors, including the distributed energy resources (DERs), the demand responses (DRs) and the market operators, are summarized. Next, the implementation stages, the evaluation results and the roadmap of EcoGrid are drawn. Finally, the implementation experiences and enlightenments to China are proposed from the technology and management aspects. The theoretical analysis in this paper will promote the construction of Energy Internet in China under the circumstance of the power market reforms.
