Substation planning method for active distribution network in the context of energy internet
Developing a low-carbon power system is critical and fundamental to cope with the challenges of global warming, in which transmission network will play a key role. Based on the background of low-carbon economy, the paper put forward a substation planning method taking account of the access of large scale distributed generations (DGs). With the continuous increase of DGs permeability, the capacity value of DG was more and more important. The capacity value of DG can be defined as DG credit capacity (CC) which can be evaluated according to the principle that the reliability index was unchanged before and after DGs access. The weighted Voronoi diagram method was used in the work of substation planning considered CC. A low-carbon evaluation objective function was added to the substation planning model to assess the contribution to low carbon economy.
