Simulation Analysis of Dynamic Reactive Voltage in Wind Power Cluster System

For the sake of studying the stability of dynamical voltage when large-scale wind farms cluster join up, this paper established the doubly-fed induction generators (DFIGs), which mainly considered the fluctuation of wind power. Based on Hopf bifurcation, its proposed that the dynamic analysis method is combined with traditional Continuation Power Flow and Time Domain Analysis. The proposed method analyses and compares the dynamic response properties and voltage control capability of the wind cable set area between different power compensation devices. The simulation results of a certain wind farm cluster in Hami, Xinjiang Province indicate that traditional static analysis results are much more optimistic compared with the proposed method. Considering the multiple time scale and the operating characteristics of cluster system, the proposed dynamic analytical method can more accurately calculate wind farm voltage stability limit.
