The proper transmission efficiency evaluation of the grid with consideration of its security constraints
The first priority in the process of power grid construction, development and operation is to maintain a high operating efficiency while the security and reliability of the grid is guaranteed, but there are often constraints between them. An index system reflecting both grid security and efficiency condition is established, including N-1 index, blackout risk index, as well as efficiency indexes of transmission cable and transformer, thus formed the foundation for multi-perspective evaluation of grid operation level; the integrated grid security and efficiency analysis model is established to preliminarily confirm the relationship and variation pattern between those two aspects; the evaluation method of the rationality of transmission efficiency is proposed, which takes security constraints into consideration, and a reasonable transmission efficiency result of the power grid is calculated to provide guidance for the decision-making of power grid planning; the rationality and validity of the comprehensive model and evaluation method are verified by selecting the regional power grid. The research result can be used for the diagnosis of transmission efficiency level of various power grids, thus providing reference for reasonable operation of the grid.
