The Implementation of the Internet of Things Technology in Henan Smart Distribution Network Demonstration Project

　　Internet of Things (IOT) technology is highly integrated and comprehensively used of new generation information technology, which has been promoted as national development strategy by the state council. Smart grid is an important application field of IOT technology. In order to accelerate the convergence of IOT technology and smart grid, the State Grid Corporation of China organized IOT technology demonstration project in Henan Hebi in 2013, selecting two 10kV distribution lines to carry out distribution network equipment with on-line monitoring, condition-based maintenance and life-cycle management based on IOT technology to resolve operational management, lacking of condition-based maintenance means etc. The project achieved good results through the practical application.
