An efficient pricing mechanism of the inter-area electricity market based on the special transforming period in China
In China, electricity market reforming is just at the beginning of the second phase. Now, the competition market is mixed with the planned, the integrated and special experimentation coexist, the region market is combined with the Province market, those will result in complex energy price. Its not efficient in resource allocation and investment guiding. However, the inter-area electricity trading according to reasonable market pricing will make good in efficiency. In the transforming period, an operational pricing mechanism on the inter-area electricity market is provided to lead efficiency and full utilization of clean energy considering these complicated situation. Market Clearing and bidding will also be discussed.
