The research on the on-line and off-line theoretical calculation software of line loss by Guangdong power grid
This paper introduces the present progress of the on-line and off-line theoretical calculation software of line loss by Guangdong power grid. Due to the benefit of reducing line loss, to improve distribution line loss management is important. The theoretical calculation model is the base of software, while the practical model is more effective than the theoretical model for engineering application, because the practical model is modified to adapt the demand of Guangdong power grids data systems. This paper also introduces the data source from the data centres with the development of the practical software. The on-line calculation is feasible if some disadvantages are solved. The suggestions for solving the disadvantages are given, which is the next step to improve the software. The present software is applied effectively in Guangdong power grid includes 19 cities.
