Current Condition of Liaoning Wind Power Industry and its Impacts on Power Grid

摘要：

　　With the installed capacity of Liaonings wind power reaching 8 million kW, wind turbines daily maximum load and generating capacity repeatedly set new records now and then, which have some impacts on Liaonings power grid in terms of peak regulation, voltage stability and frequency control. This paper starts from the characteristics of wind power and wind resource in Liaoning province. It brings forward some concrete measures in light of the operating conditions of Liaoning Power grid, which guarantee operational security and stability of the power grid while improving the grids wind power accommodation capacity as much as possible.
