Comparison of Global Maximum Power Point Tracking Methods under Partial Shading Conditions

　　This paper categorizes existing global maximum power point tracking (GMPPT) methods and makes a comparison of their major characteristics. Our work could be considered as a useful reference to choose a suitable method for specific PV systems.
