The Gas Geochemical Response of Magma Evolution of Changbaishan Tianchi Volcanic Region
Magma migrates upward, together with energy transmission and fluid (H2, CH4, H2O, N2, H2S, CO2, HCl,SO2, and rare gases, etc.), to the surface before a vulcanian eruption or magma activity. Since gases are easy-moving, they migrate to the surface more rapidly than magma, carrying great amounts of important information of deep magma (Shangguan, 2008).
