Sedimentary Record of a 4 ka B.P.Storm Event Preserved Within the Rimbeds of a Coastal Tuff Ring,Jeju Island,Korea
Volcaniclastic deposits can preserve unusually high-resolution records of earth-surface processes and environments due to extremely high aggradation rate. We provide a peculiar example of volcaniclastic sedimentation, which resulted from the interaction between a volcano (Songaksan tuff ring) and the sea.
