Design and Simulation of a Dual-Piezo-Driven Actuator Utilizing the Bridge-Type Mechanism
In this paper,a dual-piezo-driven actuator with a configuration based on the bridge-type amplification mechanism is presented.The configuration should enable the actuator to be driven with diverse friction drive principles for operations under different conditions.Numerical simulations of the actuator based on a basic mathematical model applying the DTC-MRD friction model,and the FEA of the bridge-type mechanism deformation are carried out for analyzing the feasibility of the design.
