The Study Status of the Key Techniques About the Toroidal Drive

摘要：

　　The origin and the characteristic of the toroidal drive is reviewed in this paper.The toroidal drive combines rolling contact technique with planet worm drive.The drive has many advantages such as high load-carrying capacity,a wide range of transmission ratios,noiselessness and so on.And the study status of the key techniques about the toroidal drive is summarized,which including the mesh theory,manufacturing techniques,load-carrying capacity and other study works.And then the future trends of the toroidal drive is discussed.
