Research on Galvanisability of High Manganese TWIP Steel with Containing Vanadium
This paper has researched the impact of different dew points on hot-dip galvanized performance of the vanadium-containing high manganese TWIP steel.It was found that when the dew point was at-10℃,the surface of TWIP steel had the best galvanized performance ; the galvanized layer of the TWIP steel contained the most content of the Fe-Al barrier layer which is beneficial for improving the hot-dip galvanized performance; the region of intermediate alloy layer generated the most content of Mn2+,Fe3+ or Mn4+,Fe2+.Through the thermodynamic calculation,it can be determined that the MnFe2O4 compound existed in the region of intermediate alloy layer.The forming of MnFe2O4,will significantly improve the hot-dip galvanized performance.
