Research on AFFF Supply Intensity of Full Area Fire of Petrochemical Storage Tank
In order to study the requirement of fire fighting force for full area fire emergency rescue in petrochemical storage tank farm, started from aqueous film forming foam supplyment intensity, an low-expansion fire fighting foam used in alkane tank fire widely, the factors affecting the efficiency of fire extinguishing in the whole process were analysed.Assuming that the foam spread in the oil surface as a quasi-static process, the model of covering process of AFFF on oil surface was derived.Experiments validated the model in the cold state with a higher similarity, and the series of cold and hot state oil pans experiments were conducted to determine the effect of liquid pool area and extinguishing time to heat loss rate of AFFE An AFFF supplyment intensity algorithm of effective fire control based on storage pool diameter was established.The theoretical model was extended to the actual fire scene in case analysis.
