Airflow Patterns of a Large Factory with Sided Natural Smoke Extraction System Using Scale Model Experiments
The air distribution is complicated. The analysis of airflow in the large space is an important issue whether in the normal or a fire situation.Smoke extracted in natural way possesses several advantages, including low investment cost, operating without electricity, and low repair and maintenance costs. The purpose of this study is to analyze the hot airflow in a small-scale experiment using Schlieren Photography technique and the thermocouple apparatus. In 1/12.5 model, smokeless candles were used to burn for generating hot airflow.Unlike computer simuhtion or indirect measurement in tracer smoke, the remits of the experiment show immediately, directly and accurately record the track of hot airflow.
