Extinction Effectiveness of Pyrotechnically Generated Aerosol Extinguishing Agents Containing Phosphorus-containing Compound in Wood Crib Fire
The pyrotechnically generated aerosol extinguishing agent, in which the GWP factor and ozone depletion are zero, as one substitute of the Halon fire extinguishing agent has been using widely in recent years.By literature research it is summarized that most of the pyrotechnically generated aerosol extinguishing agents have been exhibiting good capabilities against Class B fires but have been facing difficulty when extinguishing the Class A fires with wood cribs. In order to solve this problem, a new type of pyrotechnically generated aerosol extinguishing agent has been experimentally studied in its extinction effectiveness in wood crib fire in this paper.
