Quantitative Structure-Property Relationship Studies for Predicting the Gas-liquid Critical Temperature Based on Support Vector Machines
1 Introduction The gas-liquid critical properties are basic thermodynamic parameters. It includes critical temperature, critical pressure, critical volume, critical density, and so on.These data are important for the chemical industrial processes, such as petrol fractionation, supercritical extraction and reactions near critical regions. They are also basic data to calculate other properties and equations. When chemicals are at the gas-liquid critical state and environment changes, they are easy to change phase rapidly leading to explosion. Therefore its important to study the gas-liquid critical properties.Critical temperature is the highest temperature of vapor-liquid equilibrium.
