Numerical Simulation Analysis of Explosion Process and Destructive Effect for Gas Explosion Happened in Buildings

  In order to study the process of gas explosion and its destructive effect, according to the accident data in the Shijingshan District of Beijing, a physical model that is consistent with actual model is established first.The physical model size of two units and five floors is in accordance with the size of the floor plan design, including door, window and other major items.The windows and doors are designed with pressure relief.Because the explosion spreads to a larger area, there are different degrees of damage to the building.Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) explosion simulation software, according to different leakage and scope, a numerical simulation of methane explosion process is performed.In the simulation, the finite volume method is used to solve the compressible N-S equation in the three-dimensional Cartesian grid.The boundary condition is Euler.The initial pressure in the room is latin.The ambient temperature is 298k, and the total number of the grid is 1012500.
