Synthetic Process Optimization and Using in Gas Generating Agent of 4,5-di(5-tetrazolyl)-1,2,3-triazole
4,5-di(5-tetrazolyl)-1,2,3-triazole (BTTZ) was synthesized with a new method by using catalyst ZnCl2.The most optimal experimental conditions were determined to be: a reactant ratio n(DCT)∶n(ZnCl2)∶n(NaN3) of 1∶2.3∶2.45, the reaction time is 180 min, the reaction temperature is 100 ℃.The maximum yield was 99.8 % under optimum reaction conditions.Elemental analysis, IR, and NMR confirmed the structure of BTTZ.The gas generating agent of BTTZ/KNO3/MnO2 was designed.Rs many indicators as gas generating agent were studied.Those suggest that BTTZ is a very good combustible for gas generating agent.The gas generating agent of BTTZ can be long-term storage and convenient for transportation in consideration of high thermal decomposition temperature and the stability of the mechanical sensitivity.
