Research on Relative Accuracy of the Methods as Log-Linear Method for Flowrate Measurement
In order to clarify the accuracy difference among the Equal-Area Method, Tchebycheff Integral Method and the Log-Linear Method, which can be applied to round duct airflow measurements through pitot tube traverse method, and promote the scientific nature of the choice of the measure methods.The author investigated the deviation degree of measurement values measured by the different method with data analysis, and made a judge on the strengths or weaknesses of the three methods by the data analysis result.Firstly, the author measured air dynamic pressure by pitot tube at the different series of feature points in the duct, identified by the above three methods respectively, at the same cross section in the same duct segment that the airflow was not classic flow pattern, and then adopt standard deviation analysis basing on the different series of measured airflow volumetric values of the different methods underneath the different amount and the different amount underneath the different methods.Finally, the author found out the array of closest value of all the values through the minimum standard deviation analysis, and then compared it to the mean measure value corresponding to each method, and got the airflow bias.The result indicates that when the velocity area function is applied to the occasion of the air flow that is not typical flow in the cross section in the round duct, the accuracy degree of the Log-Linear Method have no more than the Tchebycheff Integral Method, and to a certain degree the Equal-Area Method is not applicable to the duct airflow measurement at the level of small amount test points.
