Summarization of Study on the Anti-explosion Performance and Technology of Castables for Trough

  At present the trough of blast furnace commonly used Al2O3-SiC-C castables bonded by low cement.In the maintenance of trough, the castables needed to realize quick drying, mold unloading and fast baking,in order to meet the requirements of tapping in a short period of time.For the anti-explosion performance of castable for trough, and according to the mechanism of anti-explosion, material type, the amount of addition and effect of comprehensive performance of trough castables, this paper respectively analyzed metal aluminum, aluminum ash, azoformamide, basic aluminum lactate, fiber.The addition amount of different types of antidetonator was determined by mode of action and reaction intensity.After reacting with water, metal aluminum powder could produce hydrogen, which could increase the porosity of the castables.The reaction heat was beneficial to the promotion of castables hardening.But the addition amount of aluminum powder must be strictly controlled.Besides aluminum powder, aluminum ash also contained a certain amount of aluminum nitride,which was more prone to hydration and produced ammonia.That was conducive to improve the permeability of the castables.In the common action of cement and water, the azoformamide emitted gas.When the gas escaped from the inside of castables,micro opening air hole formed.The addition of basic aluminum lactate made the matrix gel and produce reticular micro crack, which improved the air permeability and anti-explosion.The fiber formed pore passageway in castables after the dissolution or decomposition.This was beneficial to the rapid diffusion of water vapor and avoided the formation of large pressure.Different types of antidetonator had different characteristics.The castables for trough needed to synthetically consider the hardening time,strength, corrosion resistance, anti-permeability and other properties.The good anti-explosion effect could be realized by the composite application of antidetonator.
