A High-accuracy Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Based on GMR

摘要：

　　A precision and low-cost non-contact sensor has been devised for steering wheel angle using a giant magnetoresistance (GMR) sensor.Detailed design scheme has been given for automobile steering wheel sensor,which scheme includes hardware circuit design,software design,and formula for computing absolute steering wheel angle.The algorithm feasibility is verified through MATLAB simulation.The devised sensor provides the electronic power steering (EPS) system and the electronic stabilization program (ESP) with accurate information on steering wheel angle.
