Thermal performance assessment of the Aero-engine Vector Nozzle Measuring Platform
The performance of vector nozzle is evaluated by the aero-engine vector nozzle measuring platform.The airflow temperature of the vector nozzle is as high as 1100K in the thermal test,which is not conducive to measure the thrust vector.There are several factors that affect the vector thrust measurement.The expansion of the heated vector simulation device generates tensile force on the floating frame of balance; the floating frame of balance generates tensile deformation in the thermal test; and the change of environmental temperature makes the effect to the vector thrust measurement.In this paper,some measures are adopted to reduce or eliminate the impact of temperature on the vector thrust measurement,which includes reasonable structural layout of the aero-engine vector nozzle measuring platform,cooling design method of the stable section,and the adoption of transfer plate.The finite element analysis model is established,and the thermal analysis and modal calculations are presented.The simulated results demonstrate that the aero-engine vector nozzle measuring platform meets the requirements of vector thrust measurement.
