USRP-Based Frequency Hopping Signal Record and Playback System
Nowadays,most wireless devices are well suited for the fast evolving technology of Software-Defined Radios,which is a radio technology that most wireless signal processing components are implemented digitally in software.This paper presents a low cost,portable,and flexible frequency hopping signal record and playback system based on a general purpose software radio front end,the Universal Serial Radio Peripheral (USRP) family of devices.We paired the newest USRP-X310 mother board with the UBX-40 daughter controlled by a personal computer.Theoretically,the implemented system has the ability to record and play back hopping frequency signals up to 6GHz hopping bandwidth with transcendental hopping map knowledge and under 500H/s hopping rate.Essential testing results are provided to validate the effectiveness of our designed system.Also,some limitations and advance plan for the future use of the devised system are discussed.
