Polarized Relay Contact Gap Measurement Based on Machine Vision Technology
Assembly consistency of relay contact system is one of the key factors which affects the consistency of the polarized relays of the same batch.Gap length of relay contacts is an important parameter to evaluate the consistency of the relay contact system.In this article,focusing on the measurement of miniature polarized relay contact gap,an automated vision measurement method of miniature relay contact gap based on the improved machine vision technology is proposed.Contact gap measurement process consists of image grabbing,image preprocessing,image edge detection,improved Huber algorithm image edge fitting,contact gap automatic calculation and the comparison between measurement data and design requirements.The proposed method is a hybrid algorithm,consisting of two stages: the training stage and the measurement stage.This method has important implications for the relay contact system installation and adjustment,further,helps assess batch consistency of the relay products.
