Development of RF Front-end for Real-time MIMO Radar Imaging System

The paper aims at the RF front-end that has a single-output four-input structure.To realize four-antenna transmitting and four-antenna receiving functions,a single pole four throw (SPFT) switch and a power divider are used.The simulation results obtained by Advanced Design System (ADS),such as gain,spectrum and output power of the transceiver,indicating that the proposed strategy is feasible in theory.The appropriate chips and parameter of each module are selected according to the simulations,and the hardware circuit is designed and realized according to the requirements of RF circuit.Finally,the experimental results show that the receiving gain is 60dB,transmitting power is 20dBm.
