A Molecular Dynamics Simulation Study of the Damping Properties of Hindered Phenol/ Nitrile-Butadiene Rubber Composites
Rubber damping materials are widely used in construction,automotive and some fine chemical industry because of their unique viscoelastic properties.Organic molecules can form hydrogen bond network with rubber matrix,which can significantly improve the damping properties of hybrid composites.Our previous studies have discovered that hindered phenol can dramatically improve the damping properties of NBR,including the temperature range of Tg and the maximum loss factor.
