Further Results on the Beamforming Transmission Scheme Only Using the Specular Component for Massive-MIMO Systems

  For massive MIMO systems over Ricean fading channels,in order to reduce the overhead for estimating channel state information,we have presented a transmit/receive beamforming transmission scheme only based on the specular component,and derived asymptotical results about its achievable rate when the number of antennas grows without bound.It has been shown by simulation results that massive MIMO systems are suitable to be deployed in Ricean fading environments.In this paper,we continue to investigate the proposed BF scheme.In particular,we present some novel numerical results and analysis results,which are helpful for us to design a practical massive-MIMO system.
