Numerical study on the dynamics of fluid and flexible plate interaction
In this paper, I will attempt to present our recent work on the dynamics of fluid and flexible plate interaction.Some typical aspects include fluid flow over a circular flexible plate, an inverted flexible plate in a uniform flow,and self-locomotion of a flapping flexible plate.The dynamics of fluid and flexible plate interaction is studied numerically by an immersed boundary-lattice Boltzmann method for the fluid flow and a finite element method for the plate motion.
